Payroll Manager

PAYROLL MANAGER Position Summary We are large, scientific driven seeking a driven, enthusiastic Manager of Payroll to lead strategic planning, integration, tactical direction and day to day management of the US and Canadian Payroll function. You will join a collaborative Payroll/HR team reporting to the Senior HR Director. Your main focus will be managing all payroll processing while ensuring compliance for an 1800+ employee population. Key Areas of Responsibility: Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the Payroll team while interacting regularly with internal and external stakeholders. 1800 FTEs Direct and coordinate the implementation and administration of accurate payroll policies, processes, procedures and regulations. Provide leadership to the Payroll team to enhance performance, quality and productivity. Work closely with Corporate Finance, Benefits and HRIS Administration and outside vendors to ensure all financial controls and reporting are correct and ensures payroll solutions developed align with the corporation's overall business strategy. Possesses up to date knowledge of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance. Develop a strategic roadmap for the planning, design, implementation, communication and delivery of the payroll technology and process improvement projects. Proactive analysis, support and guidance in HRIS including training materials. Lead initiatives to identify, plan and implement process improvements, communications and reporting of payroll systems Special projects as needed Qualifications: Bachelordegree or equivalent work experience Minimum 8+ years payrollexperience Thorough experience of payrollprocesses and systems Strong understand of HRprocesses and date Thorough knowledge of Excel Previous project management experience CPP certification and/or APA membership preferred HOW TO APPLY: The method for applying for this vacancy is online via the THELADDERS Employer is an equal opportunity employer and committed to a diverse workplace. Salary Range: $120K - $160K

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
