Located in Ellsworth, Maine, Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital is a 64-bed, full service hospital serving Hancock and western Washington Counties.
Established in 1956, the Maine coast comprehensive healthcare facility provides emergency, primary and specialty care, acute inpatient, diagnostic, and surgical services.
The Speech Pathologist (SLP) reports to the Clinical Supervisor of Speech and is responsible for administration and direct application of speech/language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician.
The SLP accurately evaluates and treats patients with communication and/or swallowing disorders while completing and maintaining patient records.
The SLP assists patients to obtain maximum independent performance and function within the least restrictive environment to promote independence while adjusting to the constraints of their disability.
The SLP also participated in performance improvement activities, completes annual discipline specific competencies, and participates in CQI activities.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology degree program.
LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Active Maine speech therapy license or eligibility to obtain required.
Current BLS certification required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
