Information Security Officer (ISO) - One of Maine's strongest financial institutions is seeking an individual to join our growing team. This position is responsible for providing expert guidance on the design, development and implementation of effective information security practices throughout the Bank. The ISO will have a specific focus in the areas of information technology, data and voice communications, physical security, vendor management and cybersecurity. The position, in conjunction with the Director of Technology, will establish, maintain and implement a comprehensive security strategy designed to protect the Bank's information assets and related infrastructure. The ISO will perform risk assessments, review systems and procedures to ensure compliance with generally accepted security principles, practices, regulatory requirements and corporate policy.
Under the direction of the Chief Risk Officer, this position assists the organization in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the overall effectiveness of the Bank's information security program.
Requirements for this position include:
Associate Degree in Information Systems or related field with at least 10 years of experience in network design and administration, data communications, and general computer operations. Strong experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred.
Proven management experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
Working knowledge of Bank regulatory requirements and information security standards.
Strong knowledge of various network solutions, common Bank operating systems, related device management and security concepts;
Experience with the implementation, management, and monitoring of network firewalls, web filters, email filters, network intrusion, data loss prevention and other network security systems/devices;
Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and threat mitigation techniques;
