Director of Technology & Project Management - One of Maine's strongest financial institutions is seeking an individual to join our growing team. This position is responsible for providing expert guidance on the corporate wide design, implementation and maintenance of the Bank's technology infrastructure. This includes all Bank operating systems, business applications, networks, internet banking systems, data and voice communications, and information management programs. This position provides direct oversight for the Bank's IT and project management personnel. The Director of Technology & Project Management will assist in the development of IT strategies that support the Bank's objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, generally accepted security principles, operating practices and corporate policy.
Under the direction of the Chief Risk Officer, this position assists the Bank in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the Bank's information technology architecture.
Requirements for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field with at least 15 years of experience in network design and administration, information security, project management, data communications, and general computer operations. Strong preference is for experience in financial services.
Familiarity with Banking industry concepts and related technologies as well as applicable regulatory requirements.
Proven management experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of various network solutions, technologies and common Bank operating systems.
Experience in the design and implementation of major projects.
Working knowledge of Bank regulatory requirements and industry information security standards.
