Senior Information Management & Project Officer - One of Maine's strongest financial institutions is seeking an individual to join our growing team. This position is responsible for providing expert guidance on the corporate wide design, development and management of all Bank information reporting systems. This position will develop, manage and maintain a structured approach to the Bank's Information Reporting practices; including management of databases, the development of system interfaces, and oversight of change/quality control practices to ensure data quality. Other responsibilities include providing on-going analysis of the Bank's computer network design and developing technical recommendations for improvement. This position will assist with the development of IT strategies that support the Bank's objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, generally accepted principles, operating practices and corporate policy.
Under the direction of the Director of Technology & Project Management, this position assists the organization in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to data management, network design and development with a focus on improving the effectiveness of the Bank's information technology architecture
Requirements for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field with at least 10 years of experience in network design and administration, information security, project management, data communications, and general computer operations. Strong preference is for experience in financial services.
Familiarity with Banking industry concepts and related technologies as well as applicable regulatory requirements.
Strong knowledge of SQL, other data management solutions, data warehousing, business intelligence analytics and Cognos reporting tools.
Strong knowledge of various network solutions, technologies and common Bank operating systems.
Proven project management and leadership skills with direct experience in the design and implementation of major technical projects.
Experience with administration of complex banking systems.
Working knowledge of Bank regulatory requirements and industry information security standards.
